Masharef Geophysics Team, under the leadership of Dr. Mohamed Abdelwahab, has successfully concluded the geophysical exploration phase one within the Jabal Dunkan exploration license, Aseer region owned by Rwaked for Contracting and Mining Company.
The current phase encompassed comprehensive geophysical data acquisition, including ground-based magnetic, resistivity, and induced polarization surveys.
The investigations were focused on zones of mineralization identified during preceding regional and detailed geological mapping efforts. Key mineralogical indicators observed include oxidized chert, hematite, goethite, oxidized pyrite, and quartz stringers.
Preliminary analysis of the magnetic raw map indicates that mineralization in certain areas is structurally controlled. Moreover, the induced polarization survey has identified substantial conductive anomalies, that could potentially a probable indicator of volcanogenic massive sulfide (VMS) deposits.
We look forward to sharing summary of our the final results upon completion of the data processing and modeling phase.
